Dave Fraser has been self-employed for the last 20 years.
In that time he has started and ran a number of businesses. Most of them run
from home. these have been as diverse as Gardening , Kitchen appliance repairs,
Home Decorating and Computer Repairs among others.
This gives Dave a practical insight into the problems that
many new start-ups face today and what to do to avoid them. Many business
courses taught today are often done from a theoretical point of view, with the
person doing the teaching never having done it for real. This is not always
workable in the real world.
Dave's philosophy is to keep things as simple as possible
and use what works. Only implementing new techniques, after thorough testing,
and then only if they improve on the existing setup.
